Camille Hoxworth

Camille grew up in Central Texas and graduated from China Spring high school. In 2014, she earned her bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Texas A&M University and immediately began serving as a broadcast meteorologist in Central Texas. A veteran to the Central Texas weather scene, Camille has covered numerous severe events and has a passion for keeping the local community safe, aware and alert.
Camille joined the KWTX Weather Authority Team in 2019. After working the evening newscasts, alongside Chief Meteorologist Brady Taylor, for many years, Camille has made the transition to our weekend morning newcasts.
After getting married in 2016, she and her husband Richard were blessed with daughters a little less than years apart, Caroline and Audrey. Two years later, two more boys joined the family, Robert & Nathan. Becoming a mom, has filled her with more passion, focus, and understanding on the importance of weather safety and being prepared.
She loves talking to all generations about weather, weather safety, climate data, and all things weather. If you see her out and about, make sure to say hi!
