Grab that extra layer this morning — it’s a bit brisk out there with temperatures starting in the low 40s, but don’t dress for cooler weather all day. We are warming things up going into the afternoon. The sun makes a return and today is beautiful with highs around 70. Enjoy it because we have a warming trend going into next week.

Monday and Tuesday highs are in the mid to upper 70s. By Wednesday, highs will creep into the low 80s, and it looks like they’ll stay there through Saturday. This isn’t hot necessarily, but it is warmer than ‘normal highs’ for this time of year. We also have strong south winds that will make humidity rise and take away the crisp, fall-feel we have today.

Now, we are tracking a pair of cold fronts thinking about making an appearance Friday and Sunday. As of now, they look to bring dry air and no rain chances. The combination of the two fronts will help to bring temperatures down some, into the 70s, again by Sunday.

All in all, it’s shaping up to be a smooth, sunny stretch — the kind of week that makes you glad to be outside.
