Looks like Central Texas is in for a calm stretch of weather through the weekend and into next week. High pressure over the central and eastern U.S. will keep things quiet, with no rain expected.  A system moving in from the Desert Southwest will bring some mid and high clouds, but the air near the surface is too dry for any showers.

Temperatures will be pleasant — highs near 90 during the day, and clear, cool nights. Lows dip into the low 60s. As we move into next week the dry and mild pattern holds steady. Expect highs in the upper 80s to low 90s, but low humidity will help it feel more comfortable, at least for the first half of next week.

Rain chances stay near zero through the week, though the weather pattern might become a bit more active by next weekend.
