The weekend is shaping up to be seasonably hot and quiet. Expect morning lows in the 60s and 70s and afternoon highs in the low to mid-90s. It will feel humid, but the heat index should stay close to the actual temperature—so no extreme “feels like” numbers. It’ll feel as hot as the upper 90s.

The weather pattern looks to stay consistent with mid-90 highs sticking around through next weekend, with sunshine dominating most days. Humidity will creep up a little compared to earlier this week—not unbearable, but just enough to make it feel slightly warmer and bring a few extra clouds.

The only wrinkle comes Thursday, when a slight chance of rain arrives for areas NE. The chance for rain is about 10% or less, so it’s officially out of the forecast as most will stay dry. Also, 10% might be a little generous. Navarro County is really the only spot that has the possibility Otherwise, it’s a stretch of classic late-summer weather: hot, sunny, and great for outdoor plans—just be ready for a little heat.
