Clayton Anderson is a Morning Anchor at KWTX who joined the team in July of 2024.
He started his career in St. Joseph, MO for News-Press Now where he worked in a hybrid newsroom doing newspaper, television, and digital stories about topics around the community.
After his stop in St. Joseph he moved to KWTX's sister station in Sioux City, IA at KTIV. Where he spent time on the anchor desk on the weekends. He helped launch the brand-new News 4 Today weekend edition.
Over the years Clayton has covered the COVID-19 pandemic, local, state and national politics, the Iowa Caucus and has interviewed multiple Governors, Senators and Presidential candidates.
Clayton moved to Waco with his wife Nicole who teaches for Waco ISD. When he isn't on the anchor desk or covering a story, he likes to go golfing, hang out with family, try a new restaurant or bar, or cheer on his hometown teams the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.
