Hewitt, Texas (KWTX)- Our next Be Remarkable takes us to Hewitt where we had the pleasure to meet Tony Garcia.

Tony Garcia unites the classic and custom car community in the Waco area as the founder of i-35 Legends Car and Truck Club and works to use the community’s love for cars to help kids in the area. Even setting up a holiday bike drive.

“Last year, I think we did close to 200 bikes. It probably was over 200 bikes. We want to be specific on it, the number, but I say we hit about 190 when we stopped the count, and there was still bikes coming after that,” Garcia said.

Its Tony’s “drive” for the community and passion to serve that aligns him with Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers’ mission of being remarkable, and that is why he was selected to receive 500 bucks on behalf of Daniel Stark.

Tony is quick to credit all the other people within the club and other clubs in the area that make their mission work.

“So for me, it’s about bringing a unity and saying, hey, we’re all one unit, we’re all one spirit, and we’re here to do something for the community if you believe in that,” Garcia said.

And it is why he was nominated by Wendy Macleod.

“We have a passion for cars, but we also have a passion for people. And we get to meet a lot of great people. That’s why we show off our cars that we love, and we build with all of our heart and soul,” Macleod said.
