Valley Mills, Texas (KWTX)- Our next Be Remarkable takes us out to Valley Mills where we had the great opportunity to meet Tammie Chrisman.

Tammie is a very active member with the community and is involved with the school board. She also helps with the Bosque animal rescue kennels and is involved in food pantries.

“I love people and working with people and it’s just, you know, it feels good to be able to reach out and do things to give back,” Chrisman said.

Her dedication to the community and willingness to help wherever she can lines up with Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers’ mission of being remarkable and is why she was awarded with a 500 dollar check on behalf of Daniel Stark.

It is why one of her fellow community members, Lori Peveler, nominated Tammie to be honored.

“She was very instrumental in helping my mom with an animal that she needed to get spayed and neutered. She’s also helped me in that situation as well with some stray cats. Just watching her from the background, seeing you so involved with our community,” Peveler said.

And in true Be Remarkable fashion, Tammie plans to use the money on something that will honor the kids of Valley Mills.

We’re working on getting a memorial, of wall of champions, up here at the school for the kids. It’s down to the kids, and this would be a good donation to that,” Chrisman said.

If you know someone like Tammie being remarkable in your community, make sure you nominate them at kwtx.com/beremarkable.
