Residents at Temple apartment complex evacuated after fire

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - All residents at the 4-Hundred Apartments at 400 Fryers Creek Dr. in Temple were evacuated Tuesday night due to a fire in the building.
According to Temple Fire and Rescue they were dispatched at 8:13 P.M. Tuesday night. The department sent nine units to the scene. The first unit saw smoke coming from the building and flames on the first level.
The complex was evacuated, and several animals were evacuated as well. As of now Temple Fire said they do not have any reported injuries in residents or animals.
The department has since cleared the scene and buildings were secure.
We are still awaiting information on how many people if any are displaced.
