Lampasas woman spends hours making pillows for cancer patients
Lampasas, Texas (KWTX)- Our next Be Remarkable takes us to Lampasas where we had the great joy of meeting Melissa Dandley.
Melissa has spent countless hours making handmade cancer port comfort pillows, donating them to the Temple Baylor Scott and White.
She was surprised by Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers, who wanted to honor her for representing the traits and selflessness that represent their mission of being remarkable.
That is why she received a $500 dollar check from Daniel Stark.
“This could buy a lot of cloth,” Dandley said.
And while Alan, who nominated her, could not be there but her husband was able to speak on how amazing his wife is and why she deserves this honor.
“She spends at least 3 months out of the year just making pillows,” Pat Dandley said.
if you know someone like Melissa who is being remarkable make sure to nominate them at kwtx.com/beremarkable.
