Isabella Quintanilla is originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth Area, born and raised in Euless, Texas.
She knew she wanted to be a news reporter from a young age and decided to pursue this dream by enrolling in the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas. She also volunteered at the school's student-run news station, North Texas Television, for three-and-a-half years.
There, her passion for storytelling only grew and she realized how much of an impact her reporting can have on the community.
She graduated in December of 2023 with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science, moving down to Waco after graduation to be a multimedia journalist for KWTX.
While she is new to the area, Isabella is excited to make Waco her home and learn more about the community.
Isabella loves doing fun and creative stories that highlight all the best parts of Waco, but also hard news stories on issues that have an impact on the community.
