Community puts together benefit for 12-year-old boy recovering from an accident
TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - 12-year-old Brayton White is in good spirits after a side-by-side accident led to him being airlifted to the hospital last month.
Today a benefit was held for Brayton at the Seaton Star Hall in Temple.
The venue was filled with family and friends, all working towards the goal of helping Brayton and his family with medical expenses.
The benefit included a live auction and a raffle to go along with live music and a corn hole tournament.
Brayton says he’s grateful to see all of the support from his community.
“To know that I’m loved and I’m really supported, and I’m gonna be okay and a bunch of people are here for me,” he shared.
T-shirts and wristbands were also available at the event, with all the proceeds going back to the White family.
If you missed today’s benefit but would still like to help a link to their GoFundMe can be found here.
