Baylor’s Final Southwest Conference Game Ends in a 21-13 Loss to Texas

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - On November 23, 1995, Baylor University faced off against the University of Texas in the Bears’ last game in the Southwest Conference.
The Bears sadly lost the game 21 to 13.
The conference later dissolved in 1996.
The Southwest Conference consisted of UT, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, SMU, Houston University, Rice, and TCU.
After the conference dissolved, Baylor became a founding member of the Big 12 Conference, which began to play in 1996
