Hewitt Police Honor Ceagan Roberts with Badge as Family Continues Her Legacy

HEWITT, Texas (KWTX) - On December 30, 2019, three-year-old Ceagan Roberts received some VIP treatment from a local police department and was named an official Hewitt police officer.
She was diagnosed in September of 2019 with DIPG, a type of aggressive brain stem tumor.
Robert was presented with badge number 148 at the city’s public safety facility.
In 2021, Ceagan passed away.
In the years since, her family has held a school supply drive in her memory and as a way to support local students and teachers.
