Degrees of Science: 2024 Cicada Emergence

(KWTX) -Several Trillion Cicadas will emerge from the ground across parts of the United States in late May. It’s rare for 13 & 17 year Cicada broods to occur on the same year and near each other. We talked with Dr. Chris Simon, from the University of Connecticut, about the science of these periodic Cicada broods.
