(KWTX) - Rip currents pose a huge public safety risk across many U.S. beaches, and on average kills 70 people every year. We talked with Dr. Greg Dusek, a Senior Scientist and Oceanographer with the National Ocean Service, about how rip currents form and how you can stay safe if you are ever caught in one.
