Local woman battles to assist veterans who can’t fight anymore
WACO, Texas - These weeks Be Remarkable takes us to the Waco V.A., where a local woman, leading with a servant’s heart, is battling to assist veterans who can’t fight anymore.
“I’ve been serving vets for 40 years.”
Mary Hueske’s connection to veterans runs deep and left an indelible impact on her and her family.
“My husband was actually a Vietnam Veteran who was 100% disabled before he passed so it goes all the way back to the beginning,” Mary Hueske, Be Remarkable Winner.
Seeing first-hand what the struggle can look like, Mary stops at nothing to keep the spirits of the service members who fought for our country alive.
“I’ve been doing projects with the American Legion and anything that included a vet, I’m right there,” Mary Hueske, Be Remarkable Winner.
Her daughter Christina nominated her mother and understands what a commitment of this magnitude entails.
“Our family has stepped aside for her to do what she needs to do, and we’re proud of her,” Christina Miller, Nominator.
Now, it’s Mary’s turn to be celebrated, thanks to the good folks at Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.
Your husband served, you’re serving now, it’s remarkable what you’re doing. I love what you are doing, it’s remarkable, it’s inspiring. Our core values at Daniel Stark, one of them is be remarkable,” Claudia Yanez, Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.
