LAMPASAS, Texas - This week’s Be Remarkable takes us out to Lampasas, where a wonder woman has single handedly saved hundreds of cats.

Teresa Logsdon said she was moved to make a difference after a shocking discovery she made working as a volunteer at an animal shelter.

“I saw the euthanasia rate of cats and they come in and are euthanized, sometimes within minutes of them coming in,” Teresa Logsdon, Be Remarkable Winner.

So, like a cat, this week’s Be Remarkable winner sprung into action!  Teresa opened Lampasas Community Cats - TNR.

TNR is when Cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinarian to be neutered and vaccinated.

Teresa was nominated by Tracy Callow, who notes she has first-hand experience of Teresa’s lifesaving efforts.

She says Teresa’s reach extends far beyond Lampasas and her work never stops.  Usually working alone, she can log up 24 hours straight of rescue.

“It’s a group effort, I don’t do it on my own, I can’t,” Teresa Logsdon, Be Remarkable Winner.

Although she’s quick to share the credit, her remarkable service was rewarded by the good folks at Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.

‘We want to give you a check for $500 and I’m sure this is going to go back to the cats and caring for them, but maybe you can take yourself to a nice dinner or something,” Linda McMillan, Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.
