KILLEEN, Texas - This next Be Remarkable takes us to Killeen to meet Carol Torrance; a woman who has been committed and has 50 years of service with 27 years in the US Army retiring as a master sergeant and 23 years with Killeen ISD. Over the years she has created a passion for helping out those at work or homeless and veterans.

“Anytime I go anywhere, and somebody needs something, I do it. I don’t ask for nothing in return. I don’t like the limelight because God has blessed me, and the reason God blessed me to do what I do,” Carol Torrance, Be Remarkable Winner.

Her dedicated service is why Roger Anderson nominated her to receive $500 dollars from Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers for being remarkable.

“She is always seeking assistance with helping the community,” Roger Anderson, Nominator.

“I am asking God to allow me to continue to keep doing what I do, and I will do it as long as I have breath in my body,” Carol Torrance, Be Remarkable Winner.

Torrance continues to help making baskets for the homeless community, feeding those who are less fortunate, and helping any chance she can get when not at work for Killeen ISD.

She has a goal and a hope to create homes for homeless individuals, always showcasing selflessness, and there is no doubt the money she received will be used in a selfless way as well.
