Be Remarkable year in review 2024
WACO, Texas - 2024 was another great year from Be Remarkable as I joined the initiative this summer and it was already a well-oiled machine as KWTX and Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers honored the great people giving back to their community in Central Texas.
Our year started in Waco with a local veteran giving back to the community.
“I can spot a veteran a mile away and thank them for their service,” George Banks – Jan 10th Be Remarkable.
And in that same month we met another champion for local veterans.
“Anything that includes a vet, I’m right there,” Mary Hueske – Jan 25th Be Remarkable.
We saw family members, friends, coworkers, and the community gather and celebrate those who have given so much.
We also met our fair share of nominations for people working in the schools of Central Texas, being there for all of the students and going above and beyond.
“I always want to help everybody no matter what, it’s just a passion of mine seeing what people go through,” Dana Leshock – July 1st Be Remarkable.
And of course, our share of animal lovers.
“I’ve probably fixed about 200-300 cats,” Wanda Moore – Nov 4th Be Remarkable.
“We’ve adopted out 64 cats and 8 dogs,” Charlie’s Wags & Whiskers – May 20th Be Remarkable.
“I was taking 50 cats up there, it was fabulous,” Tessa Logsdon – July 15th Be Remarkable.
And we also said goodbye to Pete Sousa, a cornerstone of Be Remarkable from the start, as he gave his check back to recovery efforts.
2024 was fun but let’s do it bigger and better in 2025.
