Former Texas A&M student found safe three weeks after disappearance

HOUSTON, Texas (KBTX) - After more than three weeks of searching, a former Texas A&M student has been found safe, according to reports by KHOU.
Sydney Marquez, 24, had traveled from El Paso and was visiting a friend in Houston when she disappeared late at night on Dec. 11. Reports say her family would not provide additional details about how Marquez was found.
Surveillance video released by law enforcement showed Sydney walking near the area where she was staying around midnight. Her car was then found abandoned in southwest Houston.
Marquez graduated from Texas A&M in 2023 with a degree in neuroscience
