Delaney grew up in the small town of Camilla, Texas on her family's farm. From a young age she was inspired to read and write whenever she could, which her parents, Robert and India, thoroughly encouraged.
Delaney graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in the Fall of 2021, following her grandfather and uncles. While at Texas A&M, she majored in English with a double minor in Women and Gender Studies and History.
Delaney continues to live in College Station, Texas with her husband, Paul, their Cardigan Corgi Morgan, and their cat Wendy.
In her free time, Delaney enjoys reading books, writing, and playing video games.
Delaney is very excited to be part of the KBTX team, and to learn and grow with everyone at the station.
