According to the affidavit, the victim told police Franklin had sprayed bleach in her eyes several times, causing pain.

During police investigation, officers found a knife at the scene matching the woman’s description authorities confirmed.

Franklin admitted to an officer that he had threatened to kill the woman that night, which matched what the victim told police, according to the affidavit.

Police said that while being transported to the hospital, Franklin told officers he had only “threatened” her.
