Temple animal services employee arrested on family violence charge

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) — A Temple animal services employee was arrested Tuesday on a family violence charge stemming from an off-duty incident in Harker Heights, police confirmed.
Temple officers served an arrest warrant around 8:54 a.m. Dec. 23 in the 600 block of Mama Dog Circle for Emily Rabroker, 38, on behalf of the Harker Heights Police Department, according to authorities.
Rabroker is charged with assault causing bodily injury, family violence, police reported. The incident occurred in Harker Heights while she was off duty and outside of working hours.
Authorities said Rabroker works for the City of Temple in the Animal Services Department, which operates under the Temple Police Department.
She has been placed on paid administrative leave as standard practice and will remain on leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, according to authorities.
The case remains under investigation.
