Central Texas hair salon discounts services for teachers

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - The new Heaven and Hair salon in Temple is determined to become one of the best in Texas, but owner Mandi Christopher says that they are helping their community first.

“We just that its super important as a new business to be giving back to our community, that’s what Heaven and Hair is all about,” Christopher said.

Christopher decided to help teachers feel confident as they head back to the classroom and is offering discounts on services in both of her salons in Temple and Jarrell until the end of September.

“We are going to be offering $35 shampoo cut blowouts, $20 shampoo blowouts and $100 all over color services,” Christopher said.

Christopher says she wanted to treat teachers who often go above and beyond for their students all year and hopes to continue giving back to the community through their services.

“I think it’s just important to show our schools love our educators love, it’s a stressful time of year for them, it’s a lot of change,” Christopher said.
