Move-in begins at Baylor University for new school year
Students return to class on August 25th
WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Wednesday starts move-in for the Baylor Bears.
As more cars roll onto campus the next two days to drop off students, university staff warn all of campus will be impacted.
Dozens of parking lots will be closed and drivers need to be aware of new traffic patterns from 7:45 in the morning till 12:45 in the afternoon for the next two days. A full list of closures can be found here.
Although this marks the beginning of a new year, students are already looking forward to kickoff at McLane Stadium as the Bears take on the Auburn Tigers on August 29th.
“The thing I’m most excited for that I haven’t experienced so far is the sports cause man I heard that the sports teams here are phenomenal and I hear Texas has some good rivalries so I am excited to see what that’s all about,” Graduate Student Noah Walker said.
Classes officially begin on August 25th.
