FORT HOOD, Texas (KWTX) - A medical provider at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center on post has been suspended from his position and is no longer providing services to patients, Fort Hood announced Tuesday.

The Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) began an investigation within hours of a patient’s allegations against the now former medical provider.

Officials on post did not provide the provider’s name and did not describe the nature of the allegations.

CID is contacting all patients seen by the provider during the provider’s tenure.

These individuals will be provided with a number for a dedicated CRDAMC call center to answer their questions and provide additional resources should they need them.

Fort Hood officials provided no further information about the case and said “the matter remains under ongoing investigation.”
