WACO, Texas (KWTX) - 1st Friday Downtown Waco returns Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, bringing a festive New Year vibe to the heart of the city, organizers said.
Downtown will feature live music, special in‑store offers and experiences from local shops, restaurants and vendors. Visitors can stroll the streets, discover new favorites, sample food and drinks and take advantage of deals available only during the event.
Organizers said the event is geared to everyone — from a full day of shopping to a relaxed evening out, a night with friends or a family-friendly downtown outing — as the community kicks off 2026 together.
