(KWTX) - Here’s this week’s Restaurant Report Card for Central Texas:

Dollar Store & Café at 1223 North 18th Street in Waco failed a routine inspection with an 89. (11 demerits)

According to the food safety worker, it needed a reinspection because the eggs were stored above the milk.

The freezer needed to be cleaned on the inside and outside.

There were a couple of roaches seen by the hand sink.

The business needed to remove the box being used to put chicken in because it had chicken breading spilling onto the containers on the storage rack.

There was food on the floor in the fridge and freezer, and a puddle of water inside the walk-in cooler.

This next place is a gas station, which during the hustle and bustle of the holiday rush, can’t be ruled out when grabbing a quick snack.

My Stop 1 at 2508 North Valley Mills Drive in Waco failed a renewal inspection with an 88. (12 demerits)

According to the food safety worker, there was a brownish build-up on the soda nozzles at the fountain.

There were missing chlorine test strips and more than 10 rodent droppings on the floor.

Bahama Bucks at 5201 Bosque Boulevard in Waco failed a renewal inspection with a 93. (7 demerits)

It later passed with a perfect score.

The hand sank in the kitchen was not working.

A container of umbrella toothpicks that go in the drinks was on the floor there.

And an unknown substance on the floor and in the walk-in cooler and fridge needed to be cleaned.

And this week’s Clean Plate award goes to, Domo Sushi at 720 Franklin Avenue in Waco inside Union Hall.

It’s authentic Japanese cuisine. It has classic rolls. You can’t go wrong with a California roll, shrimp tempura, or the cucumber salad.

For you hard core sushi lovers, the Shaggy Dog looks interesting.

It has avocado, imitation crab, shrimp tempura, eel sauce, and spicy mayo.

Or you could pick a few pieces of Nigiri or Sashimi.
