WACO, Texas (KWTX) - We have a special birthday shout-out today! Santiago, is turning 8 years old on April 11th. He is getting all the love from nana and papa. Wishing you a fun-filled day, Santiago! Happy birthday from your family!
In McGregor, the 7th and 8th grade bands earned top Honors at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest this week.
Both bands brought home a prestigious sweepstakes trophy, scoring straight 1′s on stage and in sight reading.
Congratulations to these talented students for their hard work and impressive achievement!
The Temple High School JROTC Honor Guard made history winning first place at the Fort Cavazos skills meet. Competing against 25 teams.
They earned 188 out of 190 points marking the first-ever victory for Temple’s Honor Guard.
The team now sets their sights on their next competition in Round Rock on April 5th.
Central Texas College’s Net Impact Chapter takes the top spot in a National Competition outshining over 50 teams.
Their winning campaign included classroom presentations, a superhero-themed debt defenders summit, and a financial festival covering taxes, budgeting, and credit.
As champions, the team earns a $10,000 dollar prize and exclusive invitations to Clinton Global Initiative University events. Congratulations!
