Good News Friday: April 4, 2025
WACO, Texas (KWTX) - We would like to congratulate the Bartlett bulldog band. It earned superior ratings in both concert and sight-reading at the u-I-l region 18/26 evaluation yesterday.
With months of hard work and dedication, these talented students impressed judges.

And for the first time in history, Chaparral Bobcat Drama, already making a mark in Texas Theatre. Even though the program has only been around for 3 years! They advanced to the Area One Act Play Competition, placing in the top 48 of class 5A with several students earning honors.
The school was also named one of 23 exemplary campus by the Texas Educational Theatre Association and students secured over $330,000 dollars in scholarships, breaking Killeen ISD records!
And congratulations to Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Temple who placed third at the TAPPS State Academic meet with standout performances in debate.
The Celtics won their third straight state title in Lincoln-Douglas debate.
Victoria Mosmeyer earned multiple top finishes.
Jayla Cooper and Arianna Murray also won silver in the art meet, continuing the school’s strong tradition of excellence.
