WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Congratulations to G.W. Carver Middle School Choirs for earning top marks at the UIL contest.
The girls won Superior Rating while the boys got an Excellent Rating in concert and a Superior Rating in Sight Reading.

And, big congratulations to Ke’sha Lopez for 15 incredible years here at kwtx! Her dedication, heart, and storytelling have made a lasting impact on Central Texas.
And a special shoutout to our talented TMP Jacob Cockrell as well for his hard work and dedication who has been here since 2004. We’re proud to celebrate both of you and the amazing work you do every day. Here’s to many more!

She is the first female in Temple ISD District history to win State in Skills USA Precision Metal Competition and she’s only a sophomore.
