Good News Friday: May 23, 2025

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - In a heartfelt ceremony, 49 Killeen ISD Seniors were recognized for their commitment to serve in the U.S. Military.

Each student received red, white, and blue honor cords, symbolizing their dedication to both education and national service as family, school, and military leaders cheered them on.

13 Temple High School fine arts seniors are heading off to college to pursue their passions in music, theater, and more.

They were honored at the District’s Annual signing day ceremony, celebrating their achievements and scholarships totaling over $100,000. Congratulations to these talented artists.

Check out this heartwarming moment at Connally Primary! These students had perfect attendance this year! To celebrate, each student was entered into a drawing to win a brand-new bike.

Thanks to Free Flight Systems, 6 lucky kids got to take home a shiny new ride.

One of those punctual kiddos with perfect attendance was our Director Jacobs youngest son.
