WACO, Texas (KWTX) - We have a few birthdays to celebrate.

We’re sending a belated but very big happy birthday to our First Alert Meteorologist Sean Bellafiore who celebrated on Tuesday.

Thanks for keeping us weather-aware every day.

And on Sunday we are wishing a very happy birthday to our evening anchor, Lauren Westbrook. We hope it’s a fantastic day.

And today, a big birthday shoutout to Matthew Tinney’s girlfriend Sara.

Hope you both have a wonderful celebration.

And middle schoolers stepped up this week earning their red cross babysitting certifications through Central Texas College’s kids babysitter training.

They mastered everything from diaper duty to vital safety skills like stop the bleed, ready to care confidently for kids of all ages.

After months of unemployment and justice system involvement, two Central Texans are turning their lives around and inspiring others.

Jeremy and Joseph just completed the Second Chance Employment Program, earned certifications, and are now officially hired by the City of Killeen.

They say this opportunity gave them more than just a job, it gave them purpose, confidence, and a new beginning.
