WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Some exciting moves are happening at Central Texas College.
CTC has officially chosen the 20 talented members of its brand-new dance team for the 2025–2026 school year.
Big congrats to the new officer line: Captain D’niya Arthur, co-captain Nye Boyd, Lieutenant Jaliyah Gray and Fundraising Chair Paladin Mcnair.
Temple ISD is now among the top 8 percent of school districts in Texas for Visual Arts Education.
The district just earned the Prestigious 2025 District of Distinction Award from the Texas Art Education Association, recognizing creative excellence, student achievement, and strong community engagement.
It’s a big win for both students and staff who logged hundreds of service hours and brought home more than 40 art medals this school year.
And a special birthday for one local celebrity!
Kj at the Cameron Park Zoo celebrated his 37th birthday this week!
One of his favorite things to do is give kisses and fist bumps through the window while he is on exhibit.
You may have seen Kj at the Zoo hanging out with his kid Razak.
