WACO, Texas (KWTX) - We’d like to wish a very happy birthday to Sylvia Holder. Today, she turns 61-years-old.
She is the wife of McLennan County Cowboy, Clarence holder.
She is perhaps the first cowgirl I have ever met.
And boy is she a force to be reckoned with.
And we’d like to wish Yolanda Yarbrough a happy retirement.
After a distinguished military career and 13 and a half years with Bell County, Yarbrough is retiring.
She was a huge part of establishing the Bell County Archives Department from scratch in 2012 building systems to preserve essential documents; like court cases to birth and marriage certificates.
Thank you for your years of service to Bell County!
We’d like to wish a very happy birthday to Ruby Mae Cathy a long time Whitney and Hill County citizen who turns 100 on September 2.
Her family says she’s an incredible lady with a long history and she’s still very sharp mentally.
And a big congratulation to Linda Crawford and her husband JL.
I was honored to be part of their celebration last night as they marked the 23rd birthday for the anchor news.
It is a local black community newspaper.
As the story goes, divine providence pathed the way for the publication that focuses on “good news.”
