Bosqueville cheer team performs in Macy’s parade; Axtell FFA earns national honors
BOSQUEVILLE, Texas (KWTX) - Local students represented Central Texas on national stages during Thanksgiving week.
The Bosqueville cheer team performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Crowds lined the streets as the cheerleaders made their way along the parade route, bringing Bosqueville spirit to one of the country’s most watched holiday traditions.
Axtell FFA members earned national honors at the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis. After advancing as Texas state champions, Drake Minter placed third nationally in power structures and technical systems.
Dana Alvarado and Emma Jones took second in animal systems. Olivia Niven finished seventh in food products and processing.
