WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Joyce Heckmann is getting an early start on her 103 birthday at Mission Waco.
A lifelong Wacoan, she and her daughter Kathi have spent decades volunteering from Mission Waco to local hospitals.
Born and raised here, Joyce comes from a family that shaped Waco’s history.
Her father even built the building that now houses the Dr. Pepper Museum.
