WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Live Oak senior Allan Pahmiyer is the ultimate team player.

“I’m not necessarily the most tall or athletic or skilled or anything,” said Pahmiyer. “But I pride myself in being a hard worker and really giving it everything that I got.”

The football team captain has played five different sports throughout his prep career. No matter the game, no matter the place, Allan is always smiling.

“Just always up beat,” said Live Oak head baseball coach Michael Browning. “He won’t let teammates get down on themselves. If anything’s needed, he’s the first one that wants to volunteer. Just by example, he’s made everybody else better.”

Pahmiyer carries a 4.35 GPA. He hopes to attend one of the military academies next fall.

“In the sixth grade, I met one of my classmates’ fathers who was an officer in the Army,” said Pahmiyer. “I was kind of struck with awe. Since then, it’s just been a matter of really praying into it and seeing what God has for me. I just felt like I heard yes in everything when going to the military.”

Allan also told us he wants to be remembered for his kindness.

“I don’t wanna leave as this cool kid who could do everything, rather as a kid who was a good friend and a hard worker,” said Pahmiyer. “That’s the kind of legacy I want to leave and that’s the kind of people I want other people to be like.”

Congratulations to Allan Pahmiyer, you’re a Classroom Champion!
