Six teams remain in early December TXHSFB playoffs
WACO, Texas (KWTX) - This year’s Central Texas high school football playoff slate boasted over 40 playoff berths. In the first week of December, just six teams remain.
La Vega, Axtell, Hamilton, and Bremond are still alive in the UIL playoffs while Vanguard and Valor Prep eye TAPPS state titles.
Times and locations for our Central Texas teams are below:
4A-2 Regional Finals
La Vega (11-2) vs. West Orange-Stark (10-3)
Friday, December 5, 7:00 p.m. at Woodforest Bank Stadium (Shenandoah)
2A-1 Regional Finals
Axtell (11-1) vs. Hamilton (11-2)
Friday, December 5, 7:00 p.m. at Rocket Field (Robinson)
2A-2 Regional Finals
Bremond (13-0) vs. Mount Enterprise (13-0)
Friday, December 5, 7:00 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium (Palestine)
TAPPS 6-Man I State Championship
Vanguard (11-2) vs. First Baptist Christian (10-2)
Thursday, December 4, 11:00 a.m. at Waco ISD Stadium (Waco)
TAPPS 6-Man III State Championship
Waco Valor Prep (13-0) vs. Lake Jackson Brazosport Christian (9-3)
Thursday, December 4, 3:00 p.m. at Waco ISD Stadium (Waco)
