WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Junior cornerback Caden Jenkins was dismissed from the Baylor football team for “violations of team rules”.

Jenkins once had a promising career for the Bears after earning Second-Team Freshman All-American honors in 2023 when he had 37 tackles, two fumble recoveries and three interceptions.

The former three-star prospect from Lewisville started in 11 games for Baylor during his sophomore season, but saw his playing time drastically decrease in the 2025 season only playing in eight games.

There is no word yet on what the violations were.
