McGregor’s Bubba Zacharias named Built Ford Tough 3A Player of Week

MCGREGOR, Texas (KWTX) - Senior standout and McGregor quarterback Bubba Zacharias was recently honored with the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football 3A Player of the Week award after his game against Troy on November 7.
Zacharias helped lead McGregor to a playoff berth after throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns and running for one touchdown in a 25-22 win over Troy.
“It means a lot to me,” said Zacharias. “This is a really cool award about a player being tough and determined. I think that’s what I’m about, so I’m very honored to receive this award.
Zacharias ended his McGregor football career with 7,533 total yards of offense and 77 total touchdowns.
