Marlin’s Brysen Maxwell-Steele named Army All-American

MARLIN, Texas (KWTX) - Brysen Maxwell-Steele, one of the anchors of the Marlin Bulldog’s defensive the last four years, has been named an Army All-American.

Maxwell-Steele, who’s listed at 6′1 and 330 pounds, was named the District 13-2A Defensive MVP in both his junior and senior years.

In eight games this year, Maxwell-Steele recorded 80 total tackles with five sacks, 10 forced fumbles and an interception.

The Stephen F. Austin defensive lineman commit will get to play in the Military Appreciation Bowl on December 21 at The STAR in Frisco.
