Johnnie Fadal, Jr.
June 10th, 1937 – October 19th, 2025

Johnnie Fadal Jr., 88, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025. Burial will be, October 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with Mark Wible, a long-term friend, officiating. A Memorial Service celebrating Johnnie’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home at 6101 Bosque Blvd. in Waco.
A native of Waco, Johnnie, was born to the late Johnnie Fadal and Vessie Lee Wylie. The family moved to Hubbard, Texas where he attended school graduating from Hubbard High School. He was active in football and baseball during his schooling and was drafted by the Pittsburg Pirates. He played with their farm team before returning to Waco to pursue a career in pharmacy. Johnnie attended Navarro Junior College and graduated from the University of Houston Pharmacy School.
Johnnie began his 60-year career as a pharmacist in Lake Whitney, and shortly thereafter moved to Waco, where he worked for a locally owned Williams Drug in Southgate Center. He was an avid sportsman enjoying playing racquetball and golf. He was an active member at St. Albans Episcopal Church and most recently at Highland Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Carole Crim; his brother, James B. Fadal, and numerous cousins.
