Texas teen missing from home since Christmas Eve
Camila Mendoza Olmos last seen leaving residence on foot early Wednesday morning
SAN ANTONIO (KWTX) — A 19-year-old girl disappeared from her northwest Bexar County home on Christmas Eve morning and has not been seen since, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Camila Mendoza Olmos walked away from her home on Caspian Spring around 6:58 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2025, authorities reported.
According to deputies, security cameras captured someone who appears to be Camila looking through her car for something before the video stops. Her car stayed at the house, and deputies believe she left walking.
The sheriff’s office describes Camila as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She was wearing a baby blue hoodie with black details, baby blue pajama pants and white shoes when she left.
Authorities reported she only had her car key and possibly her driver’s license with her.
Camila’s mother noticed her daughter getting up but waited about 90 minutes before checking on her, she told KENS5, according to the New York Post. When she discovered Camila was not in the house, she tried calling her daughter’s phone and found it powered off in the bedroom.
Officials said the mother told authorities that Camila normally goes for a morning walk, but she became concerned when her daughter did not return within a reasonable period of time.
Rosario Olmos looked for her daughter throughout the neighborhood, expecting to find her on her usual walk, but was unable to locate the teen in the area, according to the New York Post.
“I thought I would find her like other times, walking, and we would come home together,” the worried mother told KENS5.
Anyone with information regarding Camila’s whereabouts is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000 or contact the Missing Persons Unit at missingpersons@bexar.org.
