Richland Springs falls to Jayton in state championship game

(KWTX) - Richland Springs finished as state runner-up after falling to the Jayton, 99-54 in the 1A D2 State Championship.
Jayton senior Bode Ham recorded a 1A State Championship rushing for 430 yards and 10 touchdowns, a 1A State Championship game record.
Ham was named both the Offensive and Defensive MVP of the state championship game.
Richland Springs finished the year with a 12-2 overall record.
