Five juveniles wounded in shooting at Round Rock party involving underage drinking
Party stemmed from viral social media flyer, police say
ROUND ROCK, Texas (KWTX) - Three juveniles from Pflugerville and two from Austin were wounded in a shooting at a Round Rock party involving underage drinking, police said.
The Round Rock Police Department is investigating the shooting that occurred late Dec. 31 in the 1600 block of Chisholm Trail Road at the Platinum Event Center.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., a physical altercation broke out between partygoers, resulting in a shooting, police said.
Officers located five juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds. All victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary information indicates the party involved underage drinking and stemmed from a viral social media flyer, police said.
At this time, no suspects are in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
