The storm potential for the overnight has shifted out of Central Texas and more into North Texas. We don’t get much of a break though, as another elevated potential for severe weather arrives for your Tuesday. Tuesday’s forecast is a little complicated, because it all hinges on how much morning showers and thunderstorms we see. We will likely see a wave of showers and thunderstorms through the morning, with the potential of some hail and gusty winds mixed in with these thunderstorms. The more rain we see in the morning, the more stable the atmosphere will be into the afternoon. If we don’t see as much rain in the morning, the atmosphere will be primed for some rather strong storms into the afternoon. We will monitor the trends through the morning and keep you posted, but it is a day to stay weather aware!

As Wednesday rolls around, we’ll still have some scattered showers lingering, but the severe storm threat should ease up as a cold front moves through in the morning. Temperatures will drop a bit post-front, but we’ll be back in the low-80s by the weekend. By Thursday, things should start to clear up, with dry and pleasant conditions rolling in for the weekend. Stay weather aware and have a reliable way to get weather alerts for the next few days.
