A few showers and thunderstorms are possible moving through this evening and into tonight and maybe a shower or two could form tomorrow but we are finally beginning to dry out from the rainy and damp spell we had most of this week across Central Texas.

Weekend Forecast
Weekend Forecast(KWTX)

We have a seasonably hot and dry weekend in store, and not just dry as in no rain, dry as in lower humidity as well. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s but it won’t be nearly as muggy as it was a few days ago so those “feels-like” temperatures will only be a degree or two higher than the actual air temperature.

We have a big change coming next week however which we have been tracking for a while now, and as crazy as it might sound we are in for a stretch with highs in the lower 90s and upper 80s! Those temperatures will be dropping starting on Tuesday and will stay that way through at least next weekend if not longer! There will be a good amount of cloud cover and the chance for rain throughout this entire stretch as more moisture returns with the cooler air.
