A shower or two may form this evening but all in all we are looking at a calm night here across Central Texas. Lots of moist air will build in overnight so it will be a very muggy start to your morning tomorrow and a sign of things to come later in the day as we are watching for storms to fire up in the afternoon hours, a few of which could be strong to severe.

A strong cold front will work its way through our area tomorrow afternoon with storms forming along and ahead of it as it interacts with the warm and moist air that is in place across our area. The amount of instability in the atmosphere at this time and the strength of the front could cause some strong winds and hail in a few of these storms. The worst effects of this cold front will be well to our north and east as even more instability, wind shear, and a faster moving part of the front will occur from eastern Oklahoma toward the Mississippi valley.

Much cooler and drier air will move in behind the front so Sunday is looking to be a gorgeous day. We will warm up again on Monday but cooler air will move in again on Tuesday and set us up for a very nice start to the work week.
