A Frigid Monday Morning Ahead, But This Cold Won’t Stick Around Much Longer
Tonight is the night where you want to drip your faucets because our temperatures will be diving a good 5° below freezing in some in some areas. Luckily a switch in the wind will make this a short lived cold spell and soon we will be back to temperatures that are well above normal.

Expect temperatures in the upper 20s as you are headed out the door on this Monday morning. Jackets will definitely be needed and it would be a good idea to get out to your car just a little earlier than normal to let it warm up a bit before heading out to work. Tomorrow afternoon will be slightly warmer than today... but not by much. It will still be a relatively chilly afternoon with highs only getting to right around 50°.
Over the course of the day on Monday, winds will shift around to coming out of the south, and that is a very good sign for things to come. Over the next few days, temperatures will warm up quickly and we will be back in the 70s for highs by Wednesday. We could see a quick sprinkle or two on Wednesday with all of the moisture that will be brought along with that warm air but no significant rainfall is expected.

A cold front will move through on Thursday and drop our temperatures down a bit, but not nearly to the extent that this most recent one has. Just a drop down into the 60s for highs on Friday before we are right back into the 70s for next weekend.
